BEING IN PRACTICE
A series of Advanced Study Programs for
Personal and Professional Development
We currently offer 5 Post Graduate programs in the ADVANCED DIPLOMA
series that will provide graduates of the Biodynamic approach to Craniosacral
Therapy, a thorough exploration of how to expand their clinical and palpation
skills.
1. Visceral Intelligence.
2. Working with the New Family
3. Pulses, Cycles and the Listening Heart
4. Specialist approach for working with the Central Nervous System
5. Working with the Primitive Reflexes
These programs have been selected to support and complement the natural
development & progress that Practitioners require in the development
of a successful Practice. The aim is to refine the expertise and skill-base
of the practitioner and to enable them to work with a greater range of
patient needs. For a summary of the individual seminar content, please
refer to the section on ‘Post Graduate Curriculums’.
Craniosacral Therapists and Cranial Osteopaths, who are not familiar with
the Biodynamic approach but already have significant experience, may be
eligible to join these programs if they attend the ‘Being
with the 3 Tides’ program, which is an orientation
to the Biodynamic approach. The program, which provides the participant
with the opportunity to develop key skills in the Biodynamic approach,
also allows time for the trainer to assess the participant’s suitability
for the Post Graduate Seminars.
ADVANCED DIPLOMA
It is anticipated that a reasonable number will wish to complete the Post
Graduate series over a 2-3 year period, and Resonance Trainings will be
awarding an ADVANCED DIPLOMA in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, to recognise
both achievement and dedication to personal development and improvement
of clinical practice.
The Advanced Diploma will be in recognition of attendance of 5 Post Graduate
seminars, case studies, and the approval by the trainers, of the skills
and expertise of the applicant to apply the Advanced Skills in a clinical
setting.
Which programs qualify for the Advanced Diploma?
The 5 Post Graduate programmes in the current Post Graduate series are
all included, but other programs will be available from time to time.
Resonance Trainings’ Programs in different countries may also vary.
Graduates who may have already completed similar programmes of an equivalent
standard may request that these be considered for the Advanced Diploma
qualification, although a minimum of three of the five in the series with
Resonance Trainings will be the needed for the Resonance Trainings Advanced
Diploma.
What other programs qualify for the Advanced Diploma?
This will be reviewed on an individual basis, but seminars in the following
categories usually qualify.
• Programs related to Birth process or post-natal studies
• Programs related to Visceral studies
• Shock & Trauma studies
• Study of the Neuro-endocrine system
• Advanced Study of the Central Nervous System
• Programs related to the improvement of verbal and inter-personal
skills
Case Studies
Each seminar in the Post Graduate series will require participants to
follow up their study and palpation skills in their own Practice. To qualify
for the Advanced Diploma at least 2 Case studies per program are also
required, to demonstrate the participants’ ability to apply the
theory and practice of each of the programs.
The Advanced Diploma is awarded by Resonance Trainings, who are
fully accredited Practitioner Trainings with the Pacific Association of
Craniosacral Therapists, The Craniosacral Therapy Association UK, and
Associacion de Therapia Craneosacral.
